Need to ground yourself? Hug a tree or walk barefoot! Though it sounds like something a child does when at play, it is one of the quickest ways a person can ground themselves and return to nature.

I try to do this as often as possible! At least daily I walk in the grass barefoot. And Always when I go somewhere new, do I find a moment to kick off at least one of my shoes and put my barefoot on the ground in this new place. I close my eyes and try to connect a little. I did this when we went to the Football Hall of Fame in Canton OH while we were out on Fawcett Field. It was quite an exhilarating experience!
